Emily [livejournal.com profile] bohemianrapsody and yours truly, in the 'gothier than goth' club, Gossips in Soho.

These photos were scanned with an ancient scanner because the new scanner is broken (go figure)...

Jen & I very pleased after we set up Dublin's first Red Light District...

Me looking out at the Irish Sea....I was going for something similar to that cranberries' album sleeve...'everybody else is doing it so why can't we'? yeah, that one. I think it turned out very nice! Thanks to Jen and her fab photographic abilities!

Jen posing next to the sea...bless.

Jen smiling on top of a hill, inbetween takes of telling me to get my lazy ass up there and do some actual hiking ;)

Me at Soho Square, waiting to get into Gossips....I have no idea what I'm smiling at....

Venus & Shannon Blowtorch from ALl the Pretty Horses doing their live thing...
it was a great show.

All the Pretty Horses.

Showing off my new Dandy Warhol's 'Plan A' vinyl(!) to [livejournal.com profile] oompa_radar, [livejournal.com profile] bohemianrapsody and [livejournal.com profile] knaughtykoolaid. it's so pretty..<333

Me without makeup and tired, enjoying my favourite meal ever. Chips & Beans (toast not shown) with Diet Pepsi. Really unhealthy but really yummy.

Robin and me in Dublin. :) and I have orange dots on my face for some reason...

Awww... You look like you're having so much fun!

*does appropriate amount of oohing and aahing over Dandy Warhols vinyl* I saw that in a record store the other day but since I don't have a record player, I didn't pick it up. Perhaps I will invest in one in the future. I did, however, pick up the CD single (er, wait... I'm not supposed to know about that yet. It's "from" grandma, or rather she pays, I buy). :D

I really like the Dublin photo (a la Cranberries album). It did turn out quite awesome.

Well, anyway, here's to adventures in Minnesoter! Perhaps Courtney will find his way there... ;)

well Courtney was in London for at least a few days while I was in London...but no luck there ;)
yeah, I have no idea why they did a song about minnesota...:p but that's the reason why I bought 'come down'. *lol* It was an impulse buy at this record shop and well, obviously I loved it and the rest is history ;)
Re: Dublin photo: Thanks!

I'd forgotton about that! Hopefully one day I'll be able to visit the Irish sea *sigh* (I love that pic)

Ya know, the Dandy Warhols were playing in London the day we left (of course) and they're opening for David Bowie in the U.K. I think we got Missy Elliott opening for him here. *wail*

Battle Royale

It's Jen, and I hope this actually posts. It's late here, and I just subjected myself to both another dose of Return of the King, and then Seabiscuit, so my brain is slightly numbed. But anyway, on the topic of movies, I can't believe you sat through Return of the King, but walked out of Battle Royale!! To everyone who bothers to read this (or just Christina as the case may be) Battle Royale rocks ass! Totally and completely. Though Return of the King gets better with repeat screenings, I must admit. Ok, that's it. I'll go read more of your entries and get caught up. Merry belated Christmas!

Battle Royale is so stupid! The plot is just, for a lack of a better word, retarded! Okay, the youth of Japan is fighting against the government, let's take 40 of them, put them on an island, and see them kill each other! woo hooooo!!!!!!!
I just got bored with the whole thing....I get bored easily with films, unless I have somebody there making fun of them with me (like in Dublin with that Arnord Schwarzenegger movie hehe :)
I don't know if you'll ever read this so I'll talk to you soon. okay? merry belated christmas to you too!! xxxxx
