"Fashion is merely a form of ugliness so unbearable that we are compelled to alter it ever six months"
-Oscar Wilde
;) by the way, Wham! rules. They've managed to create one of two christmas songs that don't make me want to stab a fork in my eye.
the other one belongs to The Darkness. "Christmastime (don't let the bells end)". Please be the Christmas #1!!!!
Kevin & I just got our tickets for LoTR: The Return of the King for tomorrow! horah!
Kevin is this guy I met tonight. he's from NYC and he's pretty cool. yup!
Today I went to Camden and got a New York Dolls shirt, which I'm going to alter (cut off the sleeves, shorten it and cut a v-neck into it) and then I went to Knightbridge area, the first time I've been there in years...
I bought a present for my mom at Harrod's. (a Paddington bear!!) Then I went to Versace, Dior, Fendi, and pretended I had loads of money...just because I could. Most of those current fashions are hidious, by the way. yuck. Those doormen at the shops are very intimidating. I feel when I walk past they're going to grab me like "We can tell you got those trousers in Camden! You're not posh enough.." or something. meh.
I forgot to say in my last entry. Heather bought me the cutest tiny Marilyn Monroe purse!!! I keep all my coins in it (which for those who've been/are in Europe, you have loads more coins than you do in the States) and Heather liked my demo so much, she still has it!! Well, actually she just forgot to give it to me so she's posting it off to me.
I also know what I'm getting Becky
miss_lixx and Terra
ladygaia! I made Terra something but I may get her something little as an extra gift...but only i can find the place again! I randomly found it 2 weeks ago with Jen and I can't find the shop again!
I miss Jen & Robin a lot....alot a lot a lot a lot. It's not the same here without you guys.
I think I'm going to walk around the city now, while I still can. bye!

Date: 2003-12-18 07:07 am (UTC)#2- the darkness are so funny! everytime I see one of their videos I just smile, no matter what mood I'm in. I hope they 'break' the states, but if not, then they're my lil secret pleasure ;)
#3- LoTR was great! my tailbone is now numb, but I almost cried, but refused to because I refuse to cry over hobbits! ;) and hahahaahah...thanks ;)
