christinafairyLast night I went out with my bandmates for a "proper night out"..because whenever we see each other it's always "working". Rehearsing, having meetings, etc...so we finally treated ourselves.
We went to the Moonlighting lounge in Soho. Inside it looks like '91 glam meets Boogie Nights. *LOL* It had leopard print carpet, and blinking tiny clear lights all over the place, with mirrors and black sofa-like seats.
It was loads of fun though. You could get 3 drinks for £1.80 (no joke) and I had fun dancing to Kylie and the Strokes...oh yes.
Before I went out I watched the latest Gucci show from Milan on Fashion TV. Maybe it's just me, but all those men looked like Ken dolls. They looked plastic! It was sorta off-putting. When the women walked down the catwalk they were playing a T. Rex album. T. Rex doesn't go well with starvation, but ya know, whatever...it was all around kinda scary. I don't understand why it's really "hip" to go to those things. I consider myself to be really into fashion and I just found this show boring.
