I have to go to Natwest during my lunchbreak to hand in this form to activate my new cashpoint card. I thought my old card was stolen, I cancelled it, then I found my old one as soon as I hung up the phone...of course.

This morning I woke up at 7am to this blaring ambulance siren. It sounded like it was right outside my window and it wasn't going anywhere...

I looked out the window and a girl got hit by a car! For fuck's sake! What's up with some of the drivers here!?!?!?! I've almost gotten hit by a car myself a few times and was literally a few feet from a motorbike skidding into me as well. You know, you're supposed to YIELD to people crossing the street, not just keep on going!!! Esp. on my street which is a tiny side street where you should not be going very fast at all! I hope that girl's okay. My new roomie Jess said she woke up to the girl screaming. :/ .....*pulls hair back with hands..with worried look*

That's all I really can say about that so...onto a different topic:

I read that aithneroad is learning Gaelic? I'm learning Welsh! Between talking to Ben almost everyday and this site I'm doing kinda well. hahaha...I can say a few sentences without looking at my little sheet with everything written down on it! go me. :)

Tonight there's another band rehearsal and Saturday we go into a recording studio!!!! I'm really looking forward to it :) I've only wanted to do this since I was...14! Even before that...I'm semi nervous about it just because I'm so foriegn to the whole thing, but it's a very good nervous feeling.

and...the coolest thing of the past 24 hours...AMETHYST GOT HER PETALS IN THE POST!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her 3 pedals which can distort her guitar in all sorts of various ways.....I can't wait to see what her guitar is going to sound like tonight as she tests them out. woo hoo. I hope she plays something similar to the Smiths "How Soon is Now?" for me, because she can!

Last night I saw the entire Madonna "Hollywood" video. I still cannot believe she's in her 40's....I hope to god I look half that good at 22. Still haven't bought her new album yet. I'm not impressed. :/ I also saw the new BRMC video!!! They're in a car and um, there's lots of blue. Good enough for me ;)

The Dandy Warhols played with Roxy Music last night, didn't they!? I missed it! That's alright. I didn't even see Serafin with my bandmates up in Camden. Lack of money and energy (it's been so hot here...the hottest in 5 yrs according to people...and there's no A/C here) and Serafin's playing this next Wednesday and the Wednesday after that anyway. :)

The other night Robin played for me her Make*Up album. Very hipster glam! I think their name says it all.

Completely bastardizing this idea from nancywasaboy, does anybody want to trade mix tapes/CDs with me? I can only make mix tapes considering I don't have a CD burner anymore, but they're really varied and kickass. :x
