(no subject)
last night I listened to the New York Dolls' live in Paris 1974 and The Strokes Hard to Explain 7" in my room while painting designs on dodgy badges with Rimmel nail varnish. Turned out quite good.
Then I used Rimmel's "Galaxtic Blue" and "Girl Power" that Caitlin got me for Christmas with the burgendy chipped varnish already on my fingernails and mixed them in a way, they look Jackson Pollock-esque! haha..all messy...Jen was picking out which of my nails were her favourites, like they were little paintings. *L*
Today I went to the National Portrait Gallery. I saw London Houses of Parliament by Claude Monet. In person the sky is pinkish and it shimmers!!! It's beautiful. I must've stared at it for at least 5 minutes wide-eyed. It's my new favourite painting.
