Lollipops, Marilyn and Lenin
Nov. 4th, 2002 07:04 pmI GOT FOREVER DELAYED TODAY!!! OH RAWRRR!!!!
Oh yeah...this CD is SO BEAUTIFUL. I swear to god, I RARELY get excited over just getting a CD, but I was so happy!!!! Oh yes!!! YAYAYAYAY!!!
*pauses...looks around* YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYY!!!!!!
I'm a bouncy happy Ms. Fairy.......YAYAYAYY!!!!
Here's the artwork. It's more beautiful in person.

And I LOVE the very beginning of "There by
the Grace of God". I never heard that beat going into it...it's a very nice beat....it just came on..there it goes...bum bum..bum...bum....bum..bum.. (typing to the song)
I'm so glad I got the Limited Edition because
it has a FREE remix CD!!! And it's brilliant!!!!!
Remixes usually don't have any emotion to them..
listen to any Kylie Minogue or Madonna "homo house" beat and you'll see what I mean..they're
bouncy, but that's about it.
Only these remixes can actually make me feel
somber...and make me THINK about politics
and the world around me. No other remixes
do that...I guess I have Massive Attack and
Ian Brown, among others to thank for that. :)
This song is SO Depeche Mode!! Yes..it is!
If you love Depeche Mode, you'd like There
by the Grace of God.
Little Baby Nothing is just such a early 90's
slap to hot pink plastic bubblegum pop culture
which is run by middle aged white male america..
As the beautiful ex-porn star Traci Lords
sings, "My life just an old man's memory". indeed
But others such as
prettymouth think of her as a John Waters film actress..and myself? A cameo
on Roseanne. *LOL*
I'm also really digging David Bowie. My
current fav. Bowie tracks are "Fashion"
and "Golden Years". Late 70's/Early 80's
Bowie.
"You love us like the Holocaust"
'Rwy'n dy garu di, Richey
La Tristesse Durera
